Hiking, sightseeing, snowmobiling, snow shoeing, cross country skiing, ice fishing, sledding, and National Forest visitations are all common winter activities one can enjoy nearby or on property at Woods Landing. Please talk with a staff member or one of the resort owners for more info on specific endeavors.
 
BIKING

The 21-mile Medicine Bow Rail Trail is close by Woods Landing. Moose, elk, mule deer, chipmunks, and squirrels are often spotted along this non-motorized trail. The Rail Trail is a packed gravel surface that is suitable for most bikes, except those with skinny tires. The minimal grade makes the biking easy for most folks.

During the summer months you can bird-watch on one of the numerous plains within 10 miles of Woods Landing.
