Hiking, fishing, sight seeing, biking, snow moiling, exploring, and hunting are all commonly loved activities here or in the nearby area of Woods Landing. Also, be sure to stop into our Our Country Store. We sell basic groceries and camping necessities along with numerous souvenirs, fresh fruit and fresh eggs, propane and gas, various homemade baked goodies, Woods Landing apparel, artwork, photography, and jewelry, and other fun unique knick knack items.

Our Country Store is closed for the winter season and will reopen for service in May!

BIKING

The 21-mile Medicine Bow Rail Trail is close by Woods Landing. Moose, elk, mule deer, chipmunks, and squirrels are often spotted along this non-motorized trail. The Rail Trail is a packed gravel surface that is suitable for most bikes, except those with skinny tires. The minimal grade makes the biking easy for most folks.

During the summer months you can bird-watch on one of the numerous plains within 10 miles of Woods Landing.

During the summer months you can fly fish on the river or on one of the numerous plains and mountain lakes within 10 miles of Woods Landing. Lake Hattie is a favorite fishing spot for fishing in the summer and ice-fishing in the winter.
